BOSTON, Mass. (June 17, 2026) – The Emerson College men's lacrosse program placed 11 of its student-athletes on the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference Team for their efforts in the classroom the Conference announced.
Senior captains Aedan Kiniry and John Marcone, along with classmate Owen Lotti lead Emerson's group as three-time honorees, while fellow senior captain Charlie van Beuren earns Academic All-Conference honors for the first time.
The NEWMAC named a total of 117 men's lacrosse student-athletes to its Academic All-Conference team. Honorees must have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2026 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

Emerson closed out its 2026 season with a 4-11 record overall, including 1-6 in NEWMAC play, capping the season with its first NEWMAC win in two years in head coach Daniel Thomas' first year at the helm.
