The Lead: The Emerson Men's Lacrosse team was led by 4 goals from Jack Burns on Friday evening at Rotch Field. Babson was able to stay ahead of the Lions throughout the game as Emerson fell to the Beavers by a score of 16-9.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Babson's offense came out of the gate firing on all cylinders; scoring 7 goals in the first 15 minutes including a hat trick by Will Spangenberg. Birk Swan and Nicholas Fulgione were able to find the back of the net for the Lions as the first quarter ended with Babson in the lead 7-2.
- Babson's offense slowed down in the second quarter but they were still able to outscore the Lions 3-2. Jack Burns and Jack O'Rourke scored the two goals in the quarter for the Lions. Entering halftime, Babson led 10-4
- The Lions had their best scoring quarter of the game coming out of halftime, getting goals from Burns, Benson Offit, and Aedan Kiniry. At the end of the three quarters, the Lions trailed 12-7.
- Burns netted two more goals in the fourth quarter for the Lions while Spangenberg added two more of his own for the beavers.
- Babson closed out the game with a 16-9 victory.
