HOW IT HAPPENED

Freshman Mackenzie Bruno put up a free throw, which gave Emerson their last lead of the half at 16-14 with 45 seconds left.
- Fisher wrapped the quarter with a layup and triple in the final 30 seconds to give the visitors the three-point edge at 19-16.
- A perfect trip to the free throw tripe by Pelino pushed Emerson back within one at 19-18 as Fisher capitalized on several turnovers and missed shots by the Lions to sneak ahead by eight after a layup by Bruno. At 3:53, the score stood at 32-24 in favor of the Falcons.
- The closest Emerson was able to close within Fisher was six as the second frame closed with the Lions down six, 30-24.
- Emerson continued to play from behind for much of the third quarter and saw their biggest deficit come at 6:35 when Bruno banked a deep triple to ballon the Fisher lead to 11 at 37-26.
- From 4:21 to 2:58, Emerson rattled off six consecutive points to get back to a single digit deficit at five after sophomore Ella Bushee connected on a jumper.
- Hill converted the last Lions bucket of the third with 1:09 on the clock as Mares and Bruno saw their shots drop to put Fisher up eight, 45-37, to end the third.
- Down by double-figures at 47-37 to start the fourth, the work of Hill and Pelino put six points on the board from 9:12 to 8:50 to get Emerson in striking distance at four at 47-43.
- The three-point line became vital down the stretch as sophomore Olivia Deslauriers and Salti used back-to-back shots from the arc as the Lions found themselves within one at 52-51 with 4:57 left in the fourth.
- Fisher had no answers for Emerson's three's as Salti's next three from the top of the key dropped and propelled Emerson ahead, 54-52, for the first time since the opening quarter.
- After Salti's three, it was all Emerson as the Lions set off on a 5-0 spark to build onto their seven point lead with 1:28 on the clock.
- A pair of shots from the charity stripe by D'Amours kept the Falcons within three at 59-56, but Emerson was perfect on its last three trips to the line and iced the 64-57 comeback victory.
