BOSTON, Mass. (May 6, 2026) – Emerson College junior midfielder Ava DelliCompagni has earned a spot on the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Conference second team as selected by the Conference's 11 head coaches the league announced today.
DelliCompagni earns All-NEWMAC honors for the first time in her career and is the first Emerson student-athlete to collect All-Conference honors since three Lions were selected to the All-NEWMAC teams in 2017. She is the 11th All-NEWMAC selection from Emerson since joining the Conference prior to the 2014 season, and eighth second team pick, and gives the Lions 32 All-Conference selections all-time dating back to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). DelliCompagni is the first All-NEWMAC selection for head coach Jessie Koffman.

DelliCompagni led Emerson with a program-record 81 points with 49 goals and 32 assists in starting all 17 games this spring. She is currently ranked fifth among NEWMAC scoring leaders, fifth in assists and sixth in goals scored this season, while ranking third with her team-high 85 draw controls. She converted on 22-of-36 free-position shot attempts this spring, leading Division III with her 1.29 free position goals per game. DelliCompagni also contributed 16 caused turnovers and 39 ground balls for the season.
DelliCompagni, named the NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week for the first time in her career on February 23, recorded at least a point in all 17 games for Emerson this season, and 37-straight games dating back to 2024, posting multiple goals in 12 contests, including five games with five-plus goals. She had a hand in 11 of the Lions 14 goals in their season-opening win against Simmons College on February 17, with five goals and a career-high matching six assists for a career-best 11 points. She netted a career-high matching six goals against Clark University on April 11.
DelliCompagni has started all 48 games over her career at Emerson and will enter her senior season just a point shy of 200, having netted 114 goals with 85 assists. She has also collected 242 draw controls, 52 caused turnovers and 120 ground balls in three seasons. DelliCompagni has been recognized for her efforts in the classroom with a spot on the Academic Honor Roll by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), earning Academic All-District® honors from College Sports Communicators (CSC) and NEWMAC Academic All-Conference honors as a sophomore.
Emerson finished its 2026 season with a 4-13 record overall, including 0-10 in NEWMAC play, posting the best start in program history to open the year.
