BOSTON, Mass.- Junior Yasmin Defne Dadikhi (Istanbul, Turkiye) of the Emerson College women's cross country team earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, announced the organization recently.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field/Cross Country teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom.

Defne Dadikhi captured USTFCCCA All-Region honors with a ninth-place finish at the NCAA East Regiona meets before finishing 64th at the 2024 NCAA Championship meet, becoming the first student-athlete in program history to compete at the event.

She also garnered All-NEWMAC accolades with a 10th-place finish at the NEWMAC Championships this past fall.
