MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – Emerson senior Yasmin Defne Dadikhi was named NEWMAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, presented by SKYBOKX 109. The full list of honorees for the week ending Sept. 14 was announced by the conference office on Monday morning.

The Lions runner crossed the finish line at the Pop Crowell Invitational with a time of 22:08.94 taking first place at the event on Saturday (Sept. 13). Her time contributed to a 163 team score, which placed them sixth in the 12 team field.

The senior bested the field by over a minute.
