DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Emerson senior Yasmin Defne Dadikhi was the second NCAA Division III runner to cross the finish line at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday (Sept. 20) afternoon. The 275-runner field featured runners from all three NCAA Divisions. The Lions placed 26th as a team.
The reigning NEWMAC Runner of the Week completed the 6K race in 22:12.38, which placed her 24th overall and just a second behind top DIII runner Haley Oliver from Rhode Island College.
Olivia Kardos (25:14.69), Natalie Suplick (26:49.61), Laila Morales (27:11.30), and Anna Brody (28:08.46) were Emerson's four other scoring runners.
