Men’s Tennis Earns Two CSC Academic All-District Nods

BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College men's tennis team landed a pair of student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, announced the organization Monday. Filippo Nocchi (Pontedera, Italy) and Pete Sevikul (Bangkok, Thailand) are the first student-athletes in program history to pick up CSC Academic All-District accolades.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

Nocchi posted a 12-7 record in singles competition, playing all 19 matches at the No. 1 singles position. He also owned a 10-9 record in doubles play at the top slot.

Sevikul sported a 6-8 record in singles matches and a 5-8 mark in doubles action.

Emerson compiled an 8-11 overall record and finished the 2024-25 campaign with a 2-5 mark in the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference.
