HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emerson scored two runs in the 2nd inning and one run in the 3rd to go up 3-0. Lasell jumped on Lions starter Angelo Deer in the top of the 4th, tallying four runs off of him before he was replaced on the mound by Aidan Rice.
- Rice had even worse luck, giving up eight runs (seven earned) without recording an out. Jake Morvillo then came in to pitch for Emerson and ended up having the most success for the Lions, pitching the rest of the game while giving up 2 runs.
- Anthony Santosuosso had the best day out of all of Emerson's hitters, going 4-5 and scoring a run. Braeden O'Connell went 2-5 with a double and Charlie Coors went 2-4 with a double of his own and two RBI's. Four other players for Emerson tallied a hit in the contest.
