HOW IT HAPPENED
- Nachamie and Ferara belted back-to-back two-baggers to push three runs across in the bottom of the first for the early 3-0 lead over Bridgewater.
- With runners on first and second, Prampin drove a single down the left field line and brought in C James in the top of the second for the Bears' first run and Emerson's lead cut to 3-1.
- Emerson struck again in their half of the second, this time on two consecutive singles from Loveland and Nachamie, to extend their margin up to 5-1.
- Two defensive miscues by Emerson in the third allowed Bridgewater to close the gap to two after Jamsin batted an infield single to short to bring in both Jay Wkadkowski and Thornell as the Lions' lead sat at 5-3.
- Bridgewater threatened for more in the top of the fifth when Lowe's wild pitch advanced Jamsin to second and J Molis to third with two outs. Lowe tossed a ground ball out to first to escape the inning and held the Bears to no runs.
- After a double by M Pigeon began the top of the sixth, Lowe retired the side in order on back-to-back grounders and a fly ball.
- With one out in the seventh, Lowe sealed the 5-3 win for the Lions when he got Molis to ground into a game-ending double play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Emerson faced a four-run deficit with one half of the first that saw Jasmin take Deer deep for a three-run bomb that landed over the wall in left center.
- The Lions chipped away at the Bears' lead in the bottom half of the first when Nachamie sent a sacrifice fly into center to drive in Hatch. Thanks to a throwing miscue by the catcher, Copeland was able to plate the second Lions' run.
- Kevin Lindsay came around to scored on a two-out double from Wladkowski for the fifth run for Bridgewater in the second, which would ultimately become the last they would score.
- Emerson got to work in the lower half of the second and used two doubles and single to drive in their next three runs to lock the game at 5-all.
- Deer held Bridgewater hitless and fanned three batters over the next three innings, which helped in Emerson's half of the sixth when Loveland drove in Hatch for the go-ahead sixth on an RBI single.
- Bridgewater came knocking in the top of the seventh when Deer surrendered a single followed by a hit batter and a two-out walk. The Lions held on to the tight one-run triumph when Molis fouled out to the catcher.
