  • On a defensive mishap by the Tigers first baseman, the Lions were able to cross home plate for the fifth time as freshman Joe Paladino (Bedminster, N.J.) scored as before Quitadamo was caught stealing to end the sixth inning.
  • With Tanner Natzke on second, Leonard batted an RBI single that allowed Natzke to score the lone Tigers run with two outs in their half of the ninth frame.
