DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Emerson Men's Cross Country competed at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday (Sept. 20) in a field that included some competitive programs from all three NCAA Divisions. All Emerson runners competed in the Men's Navy Race where the team placed 15th.

Leading the way for the Lions was senior John Lanza who placed 87th with an 8K time of 29:07.95.

Emerson's four other scorers were Honor Scorzelli (30:01.57), Christiano Iannacone (31:04.05), Paulo Vallejo Cardenas (31:39.54), and Charles Reeg (31:54.64).

The next race day for Emerson is Friday, Oct. 10 as it takes part in the Hopkinton Cross Country Festival in Hopkinton, N.H. at 2 p.m.
