BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College women's volleyball team claimed the program's 10th-consecutive and 15th all-time American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year. The Lions were also named to the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll, which celebrates programs in the top 20% of GPAs for their division.

Programs must have maintained a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale), to earn the 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award.

Emerson finished the 2025 season with a 14-15 overall record to go with a 4-7 mark in the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference.
