KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The Emerson College women's soccer team collected the program's fourth United Soccer Coaches College Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award, as the organization announced the 2024 recipients.

The College Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award recognizes teams that exhibit fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game, as reflected by the number of yellow caution cards or red ejection cards they are shown by referees throughout the season based on the number of cards accumulated divided by the number of games played.

The Lions were one of just 64 collegiate soccer teams to be recognized by the organization. Emerson was one of 32 programs to attain the Bronze Level for the award, having accumulated seven yellow cards and zero red cards during the 2024 campaign.

Emerson finished the fall with a 7-8-5 overall record to go with a 5-4-2 mark in conference play. The Lions reached the NEWMAC Tournament semifinals before falling to WPI.
