HOW IT HAPPENED
- Through the first 30 minutes of regulation, Emerson were held scoreless and found themselves on the other end of a 17-0 deficit at the break.
- Petulla put in two more goals for MIT to start off the third quarter before Emerson found their way onto the board with an unassisted marker from Danehy at 8:59. In the last seven minutes of the frame, the Engineers put in three more goals.
- Emerson sent two shots towards the net in the final 15 minutes, but could not turn either into goals as the Lions fell to the Engineers.
