The Lead: The Emerson men's tennis team made their way back into the win column with a 7-2 victory over Mass.-Boston on Friday afternoon. The Lions swept all three doubles matches and earned four singles victories.

• The Lions picked up three points in the doubles matches and earned four more points in the singles matches to earn the 7-2 win over the Beacons on Friday afternoon.

DOUBLES 

No. 1: Watanabe/Lin defeated Nandish Shah/Miguel Beltran, 8-5.

No. 2: Lawlor/Sevikul topped Alexander Comerchero/Rudraksh Trivedi, 8-3

No. 3: Sherman/Kennedy defeated David Malone/Rez Yuspi, 8-7 (10-8 tiebreaker).

SINGLES 

No. 1: Lin defeated Beltran: 6-1, 6-0

No. 2: Lawlor topped Shah: 0-6, 7-5, 6-2

No. 3: Watanabe was topped by  Comerchero: 4-6, 6-4, 5-1 (retirement)

No. 4: Sevikul bested Trivedi: 6-4, 4-6, 6-2

No. 5: Kennedy was defeated by Yuspi: 2-6, 3-6
