HOW IT HAPPENED

10": Springfield got themselves on the board first 10 minutes into the start of the first half. Dale got alone within the left side of the box and booted the ball over Schaub's fingertips to push the Pride ahead, 1-0.

20": 10 minutes later, Emerson capitalized on a costly Springfield foul and evened the game up at 1-all. After Springfield committed a penalty in front of the goal, Wojcik stepped to the line and sent the equalizer into the lower left corner.

63": Emerson fired a pair of shots towards Ryan through the beginning of the second frame before they found the back of net. With Ryan off her line, Beck raced around her right side and put the go-ahead tally into the lower left corner to move the score to 2-1.

-Two minutes after Emerson tallied the go-ahead goal, Springfield nearly leveled the game when Katie Vita sent a high shot towards Schaub, but she jumped and deflected the ball over the crossbar to preserve the one-goal lead.

-Springfield sent four more shots towards Schaub, which included three from Dale within the final seven minutes, as Schaub turned away each one to lock up the 2-1 victory for the Lions.
