MATCH NOTES

• The Lions were doubled up 6-3 at Nichols College Sunday afternoon at the Robinson Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• The Lions were only able to secure one victory in doubles.  
  • Bass Lin & Ryu Watanabe topped Moritz Kern and Santiago Perez 8-5, at the No. 1 doubles spot. 
  • Maximo Lawlor & Pete Sevikul fell to Jason Lee and Steven Kuang 8-6 in the No. 2 doubles match. 
  • Daniel Kennedy & Cooper Sherman were blanked by Caio Dieckmann and Enrico Menegon in the No. 3 doubles match.
• Down 2-1 heading into singles, The Lions had some work to do, but Nichols was able to prevail.
  • Bass Lin came out on top defeating Moritz Kern in the No. 1 singles match.
  • Santiago Perez claimed the win at the No. 2 singles position over Maximo Lawlor
  • Ryu Watanabe topped Arthur Ferreira 6-3, 6-1. 
  • Sam Kluger put Nichols back on top with a win over Pete Sevikul: 6-2, 6-1. 
  • Max Chalik fell to Diego Martinez: 6-2, 6-2.
  • Daniel Kennedy was defeated by Enzo Matos Balleux: 6-1, 6-1.
