HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The lions had a few scoring opportunities in the early minutes. Madeline Khaw blasted three shots (1 on goal) in under two minutes but was unable to put the Lions on the board.

7": Brandeis' Juliette Carreiro put the Judges on the board first on a pass from Caroline Swan

79": Late in the game, Brandies' Daria Bakhtiari capitalized on a costly Emerson handball. Bahktiari drilled the penalty kick into the back of the net giving Brandeis a 2-0 lead.
