• Eastern Nazarene's Men's Tennis team defeated the Lions 6-3 Friday afternoon at the ENC Tennis Courts as the Lions fall to 0-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• The Lions collected a pair of doubles victories to grab a 2-1 edge.  
  • Bass Lin & Ryu Watanabe topped Diego Rodriguez and Carlos Sanchez 8-6, at the No. 1 doubles spot. 
  • Maximo Lawlor & Pete Sevikul teamed up to take down Carlos Gallardo and Carlos Gomez 8-5 in the No. 2 doubles game. 
  • Daniel Kennedy & Cooper Sherman fell to Iago Alcover and Avelino Parrondo 8-0. 
• Emerson entered the singles matches up, 2-1 and after winning the No. 1 Singles match, Eastern Nazarene strung together five singles wins to come out on top.
  • Bass Lin prevailed in the Lions lone singles win topping Diego Rodriguez 6-4, 6-4.
  • Simao Nobre claimed a 6-3, 7-6 win at the No. 2 singles position over Maximo Lawlor
  • Iago Alcover topped Ryu Watanabe: 6-3, 7-6. 
  • Carlos Gomez nabbed the third straight singles victory over Pete Sevikul: 6-1, 6-0. 
  • Daniel Kennedy fell to Carlos Sanchez: 6-1, 6-0.
  • Cooper Sherman was defeated by Avelino Parrondo: 6-1, 6-0.
