HOW IT HAPPENED
31': After Ryan made a run down the left side, she slipped the ball towards the center of the box for McLaughling, who beat Schaub on her left footed kick to put Babson up 1-0 deep into the first half.
41': Emerson knotted the score at 1-all four minutes before half's end as Carlson knocked in a loose ball after junior Cali Bruce's free kick was mishandled at the edge of the six-yard box.
71': With under 20 minutes left in regulation. Babson's Katie Korzac took a long pass from Catherine Shaw and brought it down before she sent a cross into the box that ricocheted off an Emerson defender and into back of the net off the near post.
- Emerson nearly locked the game up once again four minutes later when Carlson chipped a shot past Fedosiewich, who was out of the net, only to have a Babson defender slide in and clear the ball out.
