The Lead: The Emerson's Men's Tennis team fell 6-3 to non-conference opponent, Bentley University on Saturday afternoon.

MATCH NOTES

  • The Lions fell 6-3 as Bentley was able to sweep doubles action and win four out of six singles matches on Saturday afternoon.

 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

 

  • The Lions were able to bounce back to win two out of the first three singles matches, but ultimately losing four out of six.
    • Bass Lin came out on top, defeating Daniel Weitz 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 1 singles match.
    • Maximo Lawlor fell to Connor Aulson. In the No. 2 singles position.
    • Ryu Watanabe out-dueled Gabe Horowitz 6-1, 7-5. 
    • Noah Monsanto got Bentley back in the win column by defeating Pete Sevikul: 6-1, 6-2. 
    • Daniel Kennedy fell to Reilly O'Brien: 6-0, 6-3.
    • Cooper Sherman was defeated by Andrew Broom: 6-0, 6-1.

The Lions will stay on the road as they re-visit Nichols on Saturday, October 9 at 11am.
