The Emerson Men's Tennis Team fell to the Babson Beavers on Saturday, taking three of the nine matches from the NEWMAC opponent.

The Lions dropped two of the three doubles pairing, but earned their lone victory when Maximo Lawlor (Litchfield Park, Ariz.) and Jeff Pratt (Atkinson, N.H.) defeated Andre Libnic and Rafael Premisleaner 8-6.  Babson carried a 2-1 lead into the singles matches.

Bass Lin (Shanghai, China) swept the top singles pairing over Libnic, defeating him 6-2, 6-3. Emerson dropped the four singles pairings from 2-5, but Pratt came out victorious in his singles match as well.  Pratt defeated Jackson Stewart in straight sets, winning 6-4 in both. 

The Lions will close out their regular season schedule in a home match against the Coast Guard Bears on Wednesday, starting at 3:30pm.
