The Lead: The Emerson women's soccer notched a history making NEWMAC win on Saturday afternoon thanks to an 11th minute goal by sophomore Grace Cosgrove (Sherman Oaks, Calif.) that locked up an 1-0 win over WPI, the program's first win over the Engineers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
11" (EMERSON): Following a throw-in by Emerson, the Lions were awarded a free kick opportunity that they were able to capitalize on. Bruce took the deep free kick to the center of the box that Cosgrove finished as she tapped the ball past St. Germain to gain the early 1-0 lead.
