The Lead: The Emerson men's tennis team picked up the 7-2 victory over Salem State on Thursday afternoon as the Lions swept the doubles matches and took four singles matches.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Emerson grabbed early points in the doubles matches as the number 1, 2 and 3 pairs completed a sweep over Salem State.
- The Lions notched the first three singles matches before the Vikings earned points with wins in the number 4 and 5 singles rounds.
- Emerson wrapped up the 7-2 non conference win with a number 6 singles victory.
