Box Score In an outstanding display of offense and defense, Women's Lacrosse defeated Curry with a decisive 15-2 victory. Emerson's Meredith Weber dominated on offense, scoring 5 goals and 1 assist to Kate Lemire, who had 3 goals and 2 assists of her own. The Lions took charge in the field, winning 5 of the 6 draws the first half, keeping the ball on the offensive side. During these possessions Weber sunk 4 goals into the net. This pressure brought the Lions to a 5-0 lead at the half.
The Emerson goalie Victoria Kanaris was a brick wall in the cage, letting in only 1 of the 14 shots she saw. In the second half it was Lauren Carroll who finally broke the shutout for the Colonials, bringing the score 8-1. But the Lions continued to dominate, scoring another 7 goals before the game was over, 15-2. Emerson dominated in every aspect, winning the ground ball battle and getting off 10 more shots than Curry.
