BOSTON, Mass. (December 9, 2025) – The Emerson College men's soccer program placed 13 of its student-athletes on the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference Team for their efforts in the classroom the Conference announced.
Senior Cade Mallett, who is among five from Emerson to earn a spot on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® team recently, headlines the Lions group of NEWMAC Academic All-Conference honorees with a spot on the team for the third-straight year. Classmate Kyler Maira and juniors Rohan Edwards, Wylie Jelinek, Jason Karas and Thomas Pelino each earned Academic All-Conference honors for the second time.
Postgrad Dominic Reiter adds Academic All-Conference honors to his All-Region third team selection, second team All-NEWMAC award and Academic All-District® spot this fall to date.
The NEWMAC named a total of 98 men's soccer student-athletes to its Academic All-Conference team. Honorees must have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2025 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

Emerson wrapped up its 2025 season with a 6-8-5 record overall, including 3-4-1 in NEWMAC play to finish tied for fourth in the Conference standings and earn a spot in the NEWMAC Tournament in consecutive seasons for the first time since joining the league.
