BOSTON, Mass. - Doubles action was rained out but that didn't stop Emerson women's tennis from getting it done against hosts Simmons University as the Lions won all singles matches in the afternoon faceoff.

The Lions picked up their second straight win as they improved to 6-12 this season, while Simmons fell to 5-11.

Women's tennis closes out their season at NEWMAC rivals Springfield, with a noon start time. The Pride are 3-4 in conference games this season and will face fellow NEWMAC school Smith College on Tuesday before the matchup.
