The Lead: Junior Thomas Chuaqui netted his first goal of the 2022 campaign, but that was not enough to secure the victory for the Lions. Trinity evened the score late in the first half, leading to an eventual tie between the Lions and the Bantam on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
17"- The Lions struck first as Junior Thomas Chuaqui found the back of the net on a pass from Junior Ben Deeming. This marked Chuaqui's first goal of the 2022 season and Deeming's third assist on the season.
36"- Trinity was able to answer before halftime when Senior Matt Moran scored on a pass from classmate Alex Gugliemo. This goal tied the match at 1-1 with under 10 minutes to play in the first half.
The second half did not supply many scoring chances for either side. Although Trinity attempted 7 corner kicks, the Bantam were unable to convert any of these chances into goals. Trinity also outshot Emerson by a total of 10-4 in the match and 4-0 in the second half. With the game's only 2 goals coming in the first half, Tuesday evening's match would end in a 1-1 tie for the Lions and Bantam.
