HOW IT HAPPENED

7": Emerson's offensive spared little time getting the hosts on the board and notched the game's first goal at the 6:45 mark. Tyler carried the ball down into the far right corner and crossed a passed into the box. The ball dropped to the foot of Moulinos, who headed the ball into the bottom left corner with the Lions' holding the 1-0 lead.

26": A goal from Stark Ragsdale notched an insurance goal for Emerson to give themselves the 2-0 edge. From just outside the right of the box, Deeming sent his pass into a heavily packed front of the net. Ragsdale collected the ball and knocked in the goal past Godwin.

65": After sophomore Thomas Chuaqui's corner landed just within the left post, Donovan got his foot on the rebounded ball and slipped Emerson's third marker into the left side.

67": Down in their own box, the Lions committed a foul costly enough to give Dean the penalty kick opportunity. Rivera sent his shot right into the hands of Fitzsimmons and watched the ball carry off to the left as the hosts secured their 3-0 shutout.
