The Lead: The Emerson women's tennis team picked up their first win of the spring season in commanding fashion and topped St. Michael's, 9-0, on Saturday afternoon. The Lions captured wins in all three doubles matches before they swept in the singles matches.

- Emerson commanded the doubles matches and picked up three wins to take the 3-0 lead over St. Michael's.
- Wilson & Nikolishin topped Abby Edelman & Elly McKenna: 8-1
- Steward & Woodbury defeated Ava Albis & Annie Serkes: 8-1
- Mirisola & McGovern teamed up to top Emma Posada & Sarah Knickerbocker: 8-1
- Emerson kept their momentum and came away with the sweep in all six singles matches to top St. Michael's, 9-0.

- Nikolishin topped Albis in the No. 2 singles slot: 6-3, 6-0
- Woodbury picked up the No. 3 win over McKenna: 6-2, 2-1

- Mirisola collected the No. 5 singles win over Knickerbocker in shutout fashion: 6-0, 6-0
- Oglensky wrapped the singles matches with a victory in the No. 6 spot over Posada: 6-1, 6-1
