• The Lions struggled to capture any momentum-only securing one singles match victory on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• The Lions struggled on the day, coming away with no doubles victories.
  • Susie-Jane Wilson & Maria Nikolishina were defeated by IsaBella Winter and Kara Stankewitz 8-6 at the No. 1 doubles spot. 
  • Annie Woodbury & Fuschia Steward fell to Antonia Carrero and Kelly Carlin in the No. 2 doubles match. 
  • Gabrielle McGovern & Ava Mirisola were outdueled by Jordan Knowles and Johanna Schroeder 8-3 in the No. 3 doubles match.
• The Lions looked to regroup heading into singles matches, but Nichols kept their foot on the gas.
  • Susie-Jane Wilson was defeated by Antonia Carrero 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 1 singles match.
  • Maria Nikolishina fell to Kara Stankewitz at the No. 2 singles position
  • Annie Woodbury was outdueled by Johanna Schroeder 6-3, 6-3. 
  • Fuschia Steward was defeated by Kelley Carlin 6-1, 6-0
  • Ava Mirisola was able to snag the lone victory for the Lions as she defeated Jordan Knowles 6-3, 6-2.
  • Colby-Sawyer got back track as Camila Margrin defeated Sophia Oglensky 6-3, 6-0.
