- The Lions push past Colby-Sawyer to earn a season opening victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions were only able to secure two victories in doubles.
- Susie-Jane Wilson & Maria Nikolishina defeated Grace Carpenter and Emily Hill 8-4 at the No. 1 doubles spot.
- Annie Woodbury & Fuschia Steward fell to Lindsay Macdonald and Elise Hogan 8-6 in the No. 2 doubles match.
- Ava Mirisola & Sophia Oglensky edged out Amira Eid and Amelia Campanella in the No. 3 doubles match.
- The Lions were able to string together two singles victories before Colby-Sawyer answered but Emerson ultimately prevailed.
- Susie-Jane Wilson came out on top defeating Lindsay Macdonald 6-2, 6-3 in the No. 1 singles match.
- Maria Nikolishina claimed the win at the No. 2 singles position defeating Emily Hill.
- Annie Woodbury was outdueled by Grace Carpenter 6-1, 6-3.
- Elise Hogan added another victory over Fuschia Steward
- Ava Mirisola got the Lions back on track defeating Amira Eid: 6-4, 6-0.
- Sophia Oglensky was defeated by Amelia Campanella: 6-3, 6-0.
