HOW IT HAPPENED

55": Freshman Gregory Keopanzeos gained control of the ball just past midfield and passed the ball up the right side to Dziejma. Dziejma then carried the ball and crossed a passed over to the left side, where the ball found the foot of Deeming as the sophomore booted the ball into the bottom left corner to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.

67": After a shot by Javi Beltran sailed high about the net, Roger Williams capitalized on its next possession. In front of a crowded net, Bagley was able to stuff the equalizer into the bottom right post past the reach of Ramer with the score knotted at 1-1.

  • The first overtime was a quiet one for both teams as neither side registered a shot as the game entered its second overtime period. Emerson then outshot Roger Williams 4-2 within the second overtime with the Lions nearly locking up the win on shots from Dziejma and Kopanezos, but neither found the back of the net as the contest ended in a 1-1 draw.
