HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lions had had scoring chances throughout the match but were unable to capitalize. RJ Dziejma had a scoring chance turned away by a defender in the 34th minute. Gianluca Mejia and Diego Jiminez both had scoring opportunities with under a minute remaining but were unable to convert.
19": Emmanuel's Alec Erskine found the back of the net from the far corner on a pass from Kyle Monaghan putting the Saints up 1-0.
40": Emmanuel extended their lead to 2-0 when Alec Erskrine's free kick was turned away by the Lions goalkeeper Jacob Ramer, but Jack Minas was able to put the rebound into the back of the net.
46": The Lions cut into the lead early in the 2nd half when Phil Han beat Emmanuel's goalkeeper on a free kick to make the score 2-1
