HOW IT HAPPENED
32": Velez-Perez buried a one-timer following a Trinity corner that bounced out of the 18-yard box and gave the hosts the 1-0 lead.
37": It was Velez-Perez once again who boosted Trinity's lead and put Emerson in a 2-0 hole. After Mullin received a pass deep inside the six-yard box, Velez-Perez made a run for the ball and found the back of the net.
44": Emerson came face to face with a 3-0 deficit when Cottrell scored on a run through the box and headed in a lofted ball from Velez-Perez past Kemp.
