Women's Soccer Defeats Wheelock, 12-0

BOSTON, MA - In a display of offensive dominance, the Emerson women's soccer team defeated the Wheelock Wildcats 12 - 0. Lions stays undefeated at 4-0, Wheelock drops to 0-3 overall.

Alexandra Dezenzo took the lead in points with 3 goals and 1 assist. Close behind was teammate Paige Haley with 2 goals and 1 assist.

Emerson put a total of 27 shots on goal, really showing off their powerful offense which included contributions from freshman Jess Frost, Rachel Lord, and Elizabeth Noble.

Emerson only faced two shots on their own goal, both of which were saved by keeper Laura Gartelman.

Madelaine Demers played the full 90 minutes for Wheelock making 15 saves.

Emerson looks forward to their next game on the road against the University of Maine - Farmington, Sunday September 13th at 12:00pm.
