BOSTON, Mass. (December 9, 2025) – Eleven members of the Emerson College women's soccer program have been recognized for their efforts in the classroom with a spot on the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference Team the Conference announced.
Senior midfielder Linae Bezdek, who was among four Academic All-District® selections from College Sports Communicators for the second-straight year, highlights Emerson's nine NEWMAC Academic All-Conference performers by earning the recognition for the third-straight year. The media arts production major is among three repeat NEWMAC Academic All-Conference honorees, with juniors Kaylin O'Meara and Zoe Simmons each earning the honors for the second-straight year.
The NEWMAC named a total of 162 women's soccer student-athletes to its Academic All-Conference team. Honorees must have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2025 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

Emerson wrapped up its 2025 season with a 9-6-4 record overall, including 7-2-2 in the NEWMAC to finish third in the final regular season standings. The Lions earned a spot in the NEWMAC Tournament for the sixth-straight year and seventh time since joining the Conference.
