BOSTON, Mass. (April 7, 2026) - Emerson College sophomore outside hitter Mario Cielo-Salinas has earned a spot on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference's (GNAC) weekly honor roll for men's volleyball the Conference announced on Monday.
Cielo Salinas averaged 3.50 kills, 0.17 service aces, 1.33 digs and 0.17 blocks per set while scoring a team-high 22.5 points over Emerson's final two matches of the season. He delivered ten kills with five digs, an ace and block assist to score 11.5 points against Elms College on Tuesday and then led the Lions with 11 kills and three digs to score 11.0 points against Regis University on Saturday.
Emerson finished its final season in the GNAC before the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) adds men's volleyball as a championship sport next year with a 4-14 record overall, including 1-6 in the GNAC.
