BOSTON, Mass. (March 25, 2026) – The Emerson College women's basketball program placed nine of its student-athletes on the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference Team for their efforts in the classroom the Conference announced.
Senior Bri Frongillo, the NEWMAC Athlete of the Year for the second-straight season and an honorable mention All-American by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), along with classmate Sofia Canter headline the nine selections by earning Academic All-Conference honors for the third-straight year. Juniors Elise Arnold, Kendra Dodd, Claire English, Sydney Lyons and Kaylin O'Meara are all repeat honorees and O'Meara is now a two-time honoree in two sports, having earned the honors in women's soccer the last two seasons as well.
The NEWMAC named a total of 84 women's basketball student-athletes to its Academic All-Conference team. Honorees must have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2025 fall semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

Emerson capped its season with a 14-12 record overall, including 5-6 in the NEWMAC to finish tied for seventh in the regular season standings and earn a spot in the Conference Tournament for the second-straight year and seventh time since joining the NEWMAC.
