BOSTON, Mass. (March 24, 2026) – Emerson College senior guard Bri Frongillo has been named a Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NCAA Division III honorable mention All-American for the second-straight year the organization announced during the NCAA Division III championship.
Frongillo is the first Emerson women's basketball student-athlete to earn honorable mention All-America honors from the WBCA with her first selection a year ago, repeating the recognition as a senior to cap her decorated career at the College. The two-time New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Athlete of the Year also finished her career as a three-time first team All-NEWMAC honoree, earning All-Region status from the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) and D3hoops.com for the second-straight year as well. She was selected to participate in the WBCA's Collegiate All-Star Game in Roanoke, Virginia, over the weekend and was named a preseason All-American by D3hoops.com prior to the season.

Frongillo started 19 of the 20 games she played for Emerson during her senior year after joining the team following completion of a first semester internship on the West Coast. She ranks third among NEWMAC scoring leaders with her team-best 19.0 points per game on 42.3 -percent shooting (2nd NEWMAC), including 40.2-percent (47-for-117) from three-point distance (2nd), while shooting a NEWMAC-best 90.3% (56-62) from the free-throw line to rank fourth nationally in Division III. Frongillo averages 2.4 three-point field goals per game (4th), 3.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists (4th) and 1.4 steals per game in a NEWMAC-high 38.3 minutes per contest (12th nationally).
Frongillo scored in double-figures in 17 of 20 games played this season, with 20-plus points in seven games and three 30-point outings. She led the Lions in scoring 15 of the 20 games she played this season and 50 times in her career overall. Frongillo's 379 points scored this season is good for seventh on the program's single-season list, having scored a program-best 499 points as a sophomore.
Frongillo finished her career as Emerson's career leader in scoring (1,305 points), scoring average (20.4 ppg), assists (276), assists per game (4.3) and free-throw percentage (.871), while ranking third in career three-point percentage (.380) and fourth in career three-point field goals (146) and field goal percentage (.445). She scored 1,361 collegiate points, including her 56 as a first year at Division I Bryant University, having also totaled 256 rebounds, 286 assists and 87 steals in her 76 career games played over four years.
Frongillo, a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District and three-time NEWMAC Academic All-Conference performer, scored in double figures in 61 of the 76 games she has played in her collegiate career. She recorded four career double-doubles – all with points and assists, including 26 points and a season-high ten assists at Coast Guard on February 7 – netting 20-plus points 33 times in her career, including 30-plus points eight times with a pair of 40-point games. She netted a career-high 44 points with a career-best 12 assists in a win over Coast Guard in January 2025.
Emerson capped its season with a 14-12 record overall, including 5-6 in the NEWMAC to finish tied for seventh in the regular season standings and earn a spot in the Conference Tournament for the second-straight year and seventh time since joining the NEWMAC.
