BOSTON, Mass. (January 26, 2026) - Emerson College first year setter Ryan Chen has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honor roll for men's volleyball the Conference announced.

Chen earns the weekly recognition after he engineered an Emerson attack that hit .375 in the Lions season-opening 3-0 (25-13, 25-9, 25-12) win over Fisher College on Friday night. He distributed 30 assists to go with four service aces, a dig and two block assists in the Lions lone match of the week.

Emerson (1-0, 0-0 GNAC) is back in action with three matches this week, starting Thursday night at Wheaton College at 7 p.m., before returning to Boylston Street on Saturday to host Vermont State University Johnson for a doubleheader at Bobbi Brown and Steven Plofker Gymnasium starting at 11 a.m.
