BOSTON, Mass.- The No. 6 seed Emerson College men's volleyball team endured a 3-0 loss at third-seeded Emmanuel in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals Tuesday evening.

• Emmanuel posted a 25-18 win in the first set to seize a 1-0 edge.
• The Saints captured the second frame 25-21 to extend their lead to 2-0.
• The home team eked out a narrow 33-31 decision in a closely-contested third set to punch its ticket to the GNAC Tournament semifinals.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• Theo Hackett (Portland, Maine) posted a team-high 14 kills
• Chase Fagen (Rye, N.Y.) and Cash Muse (Montauk, N.Y.) both tallied six kills.
