BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College women's lacrosse team suffered an 18-4 loss to Coast Guard on a cold, rainy Saturday afternoon at Rotch Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Coast Guard concluded the first quarter with a 5-1 lead.
- The Bears outscored the Lions 4-1 in the second period to sport a 9-2 halftime advantage.
- The visitors chalked up six goals in the third while the home side managed one goal to extend the margin to 15-3.
- Coast Guard tallied three goals and Emerson netted one goal in the fourth as the Bears secured their second-straight victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Ava Selby (Boonsboro, Md.) paced Emerson with two goals.
- Ava DelliCompagni (Coatesville, Pa.) posted two assists and four draw controls.
- Holland Rutter (Pingree Grove, Ill.) chipped in with one goal and three ground balls.
- Laura Lovell (Norwalk, Conn.) added a goal while Callie Krosin (Pikesville, Md.) dished out one assist.
- Lindsey Wettstein (South Hempstead, N.Y.) recorded 10 saves in her second start of the season.
- Emerson finished the game with 13 shots while Coast Guard manufactured 36 shot attempts.
