CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The Emerson College men's lacrosse team absorbed a 14-8 setback at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- MIT sported a 4-2 advantage after the opening quarter.
- The Engineers owned a 4-3 edge in second-period scoring to boast an 8-5 halftime lead.
- The home side outscored the visitors 4-1 in the third to widen the margin to 12-6.
- Both squads netted two goals in the fourth quarter as MIT picked up its second win in a row.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Jack Burns (Clarksville, Md.) notched two goals and one assist.
- Aeden Kiniry (Westport, Conn.) tallied a pair of goals and three ground balls.
- Alex Menendez (Naperville, Ill.) and Zachary Stern-Hayes (Brunswick, Maine) both finished with one goal and one assist.
- Ethan Corby (Whitby, Ontario) registered 14 saves in his second-consecutive start.
- Emerson concluded the contest with 31 shots while MIT generated 50 shot attempts.
