GLENSIDE, Pa.- The Emerson College men's lacrosse team absorbed an 11-8 loss at Arcadia Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Arcadia notched a pair of goals in the first quarter to construct a 2-0 lead.
- Emerson finished with a 4-3 edge in second-period scoring as the home side clung to a 5-4 edge at the halftime break.
- The Lions tallied four goals in the third while the Knights scored twice as the visitors held a narrow 8-7 lead heading to the fourth frame.
- Arcadia generated four goals in the final quarter while shutting out Emerson in the period en route to earning an 11-8 victory in the first-ever meeting between the teams.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Jack Burns (Clarksville, Md.) notched four goals on the afternoon.
- Benson Offitt (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) also finished with four points, netting three goals and adding one assist.
- Grant Wilson (Los Angeles, Calif.) posted a pair of goals while Brady Fish (San Clemente, Calif.) registered one goal and one assist.
- Elijah Turbow (Valley Village, Calif.) recorded 10 saves in his seventh start of the year.
- Emerson attempted 38 shots on the day while Arcadia produced 44 attempts.
