BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College women's lacrosse team notched a 19-12 win over Gordon on a rainy Thursday night at Rotch Field in the first home game of the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emerson sported a narrow 5-4 lead through the opening 15 minutes of play.
- Gordon posted a 4-3 edge in second quarter scoring as the two teams headed into the halftime break level at 8-8.
- The Lions poured in six goals and limited the Fighting Scots to a pair of scores to hold a 14-10 advantage after three periods of action.
- The hosts netted five goals in the final frame and allowed two goals en route to earning their second-straight victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Ava Selby (Boonsboro, Md.) racked up five goals, two assists, and a team-high six draw controls.
- Grace Danehy (Mansfield, Mass.) finished with four goals and three assists to go with four draw controls
- Callie Krosin (Pikesville, Md.) registered four assists and two goals.
- Laura Lovell (Norwalk, Conn.) posted three goals and two assists.
- Laina Gustafson (Cross Plains, Wis.) chipped in with three goals, one assist, and five draw controls.
- Ellie Spotts (Corona Del Mar, Calif.) recorded 10 saves in goal for the Lions.
- Emerson produced 38 shot attempts in the contest while Gordon chalked up 25 attempts.
