BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College women's lacrosse team collected its third-consecutive victory Monday, defeating Southwestern 19-8.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emerson owned a slim 5-4 lead after the first quarter.
- The Lions outscored the Pirates 4-1 in the second frame to hold a 9-5 halftime advantage.
- The visitors netted four goals in the third while surrendering just one goal to stretch the gap to 13-6.
- Emerson poured in six goals in the fourth quarter and Southwestern managed a pair of goals as the Lions secured their third win in a row.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Callie Krosin (Pikesville, Md.) notched a team-high five goals and added two assists.
- Grace Danehy (Mansfield, Mass.) posted four goals and three assists to go with five ground balls.
- Ava Selby (Boonsboro, Md.) tallied four goals while Laina Gustafson (Cross Plains, Wis.) chipped in with three goals.
- Lindsey Wettstein (South Hempstead, N.Y.) finished with five saves in her first start of the season and Ellie Spotts (Corona Del Mar, Calif.) registered six saves in relief.
- Emerson manufactured 35 shot attempts in the contest while Southwestern chalked up 37 shots.
