WESTWOOD, Mass.- Junior Linus Helmhold (Krefeld, Germany) of the Emerson College men's basketball team has been tabbed to the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) all-conference second team, announced the league office Monday.

Helmhold averaged 11.4 points and ranked third in the NEWMAC with 7.5 rebounds per game on the season. In conference play, he averaged 13.2 points and 8.4 boards per contest.

Emerson concluded the 2024-25 season with a 13-14 overall record and a 7-9 mark in league action. The Lions grabbed the No. 4 seed in the NEWMAC Tournament and defeated Springfield 67-50 before falling to top-seeded WPI in the semifinals.
