BOSTON, Mass.- The Emerson College women's basketball team landed three student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, announced the organization Tuesday. Kendra Dodd (Tampa, Fla.), Bri Frongillo (Hopedale, Mass.), and Charlotte Levison (Atherton, Calif.) all picked up CSC Academic All-District accolades.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Dodd started all 26 games this season and averaged 10.0 points per game while ranking second in the conference with 77 made three-pointers.
Frongillo earned WBCA All-America honorable mention this season while also claiming D3Hoops.com and NEWBA All-Region first team honors. She was selected as the NEWMAC Athlete of the Year to go with All-NEWMAC first team accolades. Frongillo started 19 games and led the Lions with 22.5 points per game while also averaging 5.2 assists per contest.
Levison started 24 contests this season and ranked second on the team with 10.9 points per game. She also averaged 4.8 rebounds per contest while pacing the squad with 42 blocks and 35 steals.
Emerson posted a 16-10 overall record and finished the 2024-25 campaign with a 7-4 mark in the NEWMAC. The Lions grabbed the No. 4 seed in the NEWMAC Tournament and fell to fifth-seeded Salve Regina in the quarterfinal round.
